Bitching Ramblings
I survived! My first out of many weekends working at the most busiest mall in Lake County. And I got to tell you, I totally underestimated the amount of customers that would be busting through the mall doors and coming into my Victoria Secret at 12am.

Three years ago, I worked at American Eagle in the county over, but I never worked on Black Friday weekend. A year later, I worked at Lord & Taylor and worked on Black Friday. Lucky for me, Lord & Taylor didn't have that many sales or bargins, so the only thing I worried about was cleaning after undecided customers.

Now, here I am...a retail manager for Victoria Secret, working all weekend after Thanksgiving. Sure, I get paid for overtime, but I didn't think it was worth it to be honest. Working from midnight till eight-thirty AM was not pleasant. I had to speak with many angry customers about certain sales not going through their purchase, coupons not going through and etc. Lots and lots of angry and stupid customers that didn't read the fine print on the coupons.

One customer was holding up the line, arguing about combining her coupon she got in the mail and the sale we had displayed at the store. Complaining about how she was suppose to have forty-two cent discount on her purchase. First off, the coupon doesn't work until December 4th, 2009. And the coupon itself doesn't work with any other offers. She didn't want to believe and continue to argue with me over forty-two cents.

I won the battle, leaving an angry customer cursing Victoria Secret and me nodding with agreement.

Another customer outside of my store got into a fight with another customer. I didn't know about the details about it, but I had to call for segway patrol to break it off. While that was going on, I was trying to keep the customers calm and get them away from the fight until the mall fuzz arrived.

After I got off from my shift, I decided to do some shopping. Which I didn't find any deals that were left.

Anyway, I didn't have time to work on AMVs, which I've been looking forward to working on when I got home. However, lack of sleep, homework overload and family/friend matters got the best of me. And I was not able to work on a few projects, until now.

Three more holiday weeks and then my trip to the Philippines at the end of the month!! I can't wait.

Oh and btw! My new obsession is Fairy Tail!

Brainstorm
What do I think about Twilight Saga: New Moon?

SUCKS!!!

Joking! Joking! To be honest, it was better than Catherine Hardwicke's direction with the first book. The New Moon Director, Chris Weitz, definitely stayed true with the book, reflecting the series of events fluidly.

First off, Twilight 2008 film was utterly disappointing. Not only was most of the cast did not fit the part, but the movie production itself was done poorly.
  • "The first movie looked like a Professional Film Maker that went Super Saiyan Fan-girl. However, New Moon's director wasn't a fan-boy for this series, so the approach of this video was professional to a certain extent. Some parts of the film had that Hardwicke fan-girl lingering." -Kris Nakata, Film Major at University of Illinois, Chicago

I saw the movie with him on Friday with a bunch of our Twilight fangirl friends. Was annoying as hell! But, we did had a good time.

For me, the movie wasn't bad. There was alot of stuff they didn't cover that was important, like the imprinting deal and other stuff. Then again, you can't fit everything into a 120-minute movie.

Also, it had so much intentional and unintentional comedy that made it enjoyable to watch.

One of the things that made me laugh the most was the comparison between Jacob and Edward's body. I know Ed is suppose to be pale looking, but he should of at least worked out a bit. If I was Bella, I would definitely want Jacob. Not just for the body, but for his personality. Edward seems...I don't know...poetic for me.

And I wish my boyfriend runs around half naked! You know how hard it is to get him to walk around the house with no shirt on? I know we room with a few other people, but that doesn't mean hide your sexy bod! And their all guys for christ sakes!!

Anyways, the movie was great, but I wouldn't want to watch it again.
Fuck Ya!!!!

Yes, I am back with a monitor. Thanks to my friend, Rich. Who gave me his old HP monitor!

New AMVs will be up soon!!! XD
Frustrated
Okay, first off.

7:58am-I was heading to school. Class started at 8am and I was five minutes away from school. Not a good way to start the day. As I approach the red light with the other rush hour traffic commuters, my car stalls in the middle of the road. My engine, oil, brake and seat belt lights were on and I let go of the brake and the car didn't go anywhere.

"Shimata!" I shouted as I roughly put the car in Park. The light was still red, so I desperately tried to start it before it turned green. However, the battle with the light was declared hopeless on my end. I quickly put the emergency lights on and I had frustrated, pissy, caffeine induced commuters glaring at me as they went around me. I didn't care about the hideous stares, all I cared was my car, because I needed to get to work, school and home.

8:15-Over fifteen minutes since my car made an unexpected stop, I was at the repair shop. Luckily, after being idle for two minutes in the middle of Washington Street, my car finally started and I drove to my friend Anthony's repair shop a few miles away from where I was at. He wasn't there, because of class, but I called him and he said,

"he'll come in as soon as his last class was dismissed." And I was somewhat relieved.

10:50am-I got my car fix, but they really couldn't find out what happened. Anthony said, "the car computer probably had a glitch in the system, so we just reset the computer and it seems to be fine. If the engine light comes on again, please give me a call as soon as possible. We'll probably have to figure out what's wrong manually."

That scared me a bit, because what if I broke down in the middle of the express way.

Okay, after that, I had to go to my last class. During Lecture, I was roaming the interwebs and I just remembered the Soul Eater English Dubb release at 11am. I was mad that I wasn't in the right environment and I had a bones pop quiz, which I didn't pay attention to.

1:06pm-I came home and started watching the four episodes, while painting my nails for a rehearsal dinner I had to go to later that day.

To be honest, I loved Soul Eater, Kiddo-kun, Patti and Liz's voices. But, the rest of the characters were simply horrific. Nonetheless, I still loved the acting of each of the VAs. I can see why they were casted for their character, even if some of the voices didn't seem right.

My sister was watching with me, and she kept shouting the original Seiyuu cast's names.

Soul had some iffy parts, and when that happened, "Koki-senpai!! I need you and your sexy voice!"

When DtK spoke, "Mamoru-sama! Help TODD!!"

When Black Star spoke, "..." *punches my dog*

It was annoying watching this with her. She made all kind of noises of disgust. As for me, I was laughing all the way through, in a good way. I enjoyed it very much and I am looking forward to the release.

4pm-I had a wedding rehearsal dinner to attend. My friend had to pick me up, because of my car. Before that, I had to make Onigiri (japanese rice balls) for my sister and her friends. I was in my dress already as I was making three different types; kimichi for my sister, umeboshi for Leantte and tuna for the other chick. I finished up and was washing the dishes. All of the sudden, the fork that used for the kimchi flew and hit my dress, leaving a huge stain in the front.

I changed into my other dress, that I was saving for another wedding. Which I made sure that the people that are going to this rehearsal dinner won't be going to that wedding in December.

Now, I am home. Back from the rehearsal dinner that went pretty well. except the fact I got a headache from the screaming,

"Oh My God! It's Lexi!!!" I force myself to hug them and try to hold my breath from the strong perfume/cologne on them. Jeez, all that stench up in my nose and in my brain can really knock your brain around.

So, here I am. typing all this up with a headache. It totally sucked today, but I'm glad it's over.
Now I want to go to bed and sleep this headache off.

The Recap  )</div>

Okay, thoughts!! A superb chapter, however, it's not as epic as Full Metal Alchemist chapter.

It was nice to see that Fire was finalized as a guy and Thunder was confirmed as a gal. So, that's some news right there.

The chapter ended great with a mega cliffhanger. The start of one of the battles I've been dying to see happen in the manga.

A few months ago, I stated that Black Star was going to fight Crona in the the upcoming chapters. There was a pattern to Ohkubo's Crona throughout the series.
Ohkubo Pattern of Crona )

Anyways, another great chapter! But, I know next month's (the January issue *my birthday month*) issue is going to be kick ass!!!! XD

Till Next Month <33

Manga
I know I'm like a month late for this review, so I am going to make this short and sweet. Since the next chapter is the conclusion of what happened here, I'll probably elaborate with that review.

How hot is that! Our man, Kilik, is wielding not only Pot of Fire and Thunder, but the Thompson Sisters as well. Before Chapter 67 came out, many of us thought Pot of Fire and Thunder are girls. Yeah, after this month's chapter release, we found out that Thunder is a sexy gal and Fire is a hot guy (no pun intended).

Kim and Jacqueline are also part of this mission as they gather information about Medusa in one of her lairs in Africa. Where they found information about the Black Blood, Crona and other possible information about what Medusa has up her sleeve.

At the end of the chapter, the villagers attacked them, but it seems like the insanity in Medusa's experiment  inflicted insanity upon the villagers. Possibly used them as an experiment. To test how they reacted to the insanity of their next opponent, The Black Clown.

My thoughts? I was impressed to see Kilik's potential in this chapter. At first, I didn't like the fact he could wield another set of dual weapons. Seeing as the start of the series, it is difficult to wield more than one weapon. It would seem easy for Kid to do so, because of his nature as a Shinigami. But, four? What the hell is Kilik anyway?

After reading the chapter again, I'm starting to like Kilik more. Well, I liked him before this chapter, I might actually love this character now.

There....that's my short quick review between classes. Time to type up Chapter 67 review after the next class.

Frustrated
What the hell!? I am seriously fed up with all the people I've been paired up with this Fall Semester '09. The constant betrayal, cheating and trust issues, was all they manage to contribute with our partnership. Most of the work and research done was contributed by me and me alone. Sure, I might be over-exaggerating about the work load, but the work they managed to get done was nothing compared to what I had to do.

About 60% of all the work they were suppose to complete, I completed in their favor. From their half of our paper to researching on our final project worth 20% of our grade, my partners in all five of my classes are lazy and careless. Also, traitors!

My Biochemistry partner actually approach my professor and told her that they did all the work in our project on the Kreb Cycle and chemical composition of pyruvate. The professor confront me about my so-call 'laziness' in the project. Oh was I so mad as my professor talked to me about my teamwork and all that wonderful bullshit about what 'a certain someone' said to me.

Ha, I said to her, "I assure you that I've contributed my work load equally and fairly. You [She] shouldn't worry about me when it comes to teamwork, Dr. Z. I am well aware of the material taught in class and I can prove that I am well inform of the material for our next test."

Week after that, we took our first test and then got our results. I got a 91.68% and my partner got a 62.08%. The professor talked to me after class and apologized for not trusting me.

That goes for English, Physics, Anatomy and Sociology. Most of them noticed, because writing styles for both individual and group papers were the same.

Lexi, why don't you just not do the work and let them suffer? Yeah, and put my 3.8 GPA I've been working my ass for on the tight rope. Working two jobs, fifteen credit hours semester and a three class daily heavy homework load, I can't let kiddie sacrifices like that get in the way of my goal. Let alone risk proving to my parents I can do it all, juggling school and work.

Last semester, I had male partners in all of my classes, which we worked pretty well together. In Psychology, I was partnered with Evan. He contributed with the work load in our combined papers and was well informed of the material in class. He was super cool, both having interests in automotives, Top Gear and sexy women. However, he didn't like it that I love to read. He always complained about how I had a new book in my hand every week. Even if he transferred to Arizona State, we remain friends as of date.

English, I was partnered with Jake. We didn't get along as well as Evan and I did, but we did get the equal amount of work done. Yes, we had many arguments when it came to the content in our papers, but it canceled each other out when we got a final grade of 95%. He was somewhat of a control freak with our work. Questioning himself if we put enough work into the final product (sounds like a certain someone doesn't it?). We encounter each other from time to time, but we only exchange a friendly head nod.

If you haven't seen the pattern here, you should know that my next partner should be like the loud-mouth badass we know and love. Actually, he isn't like him at all. Anthony was lazy indeed in group work in calculus, but he was very intelligent when he had to be. He doesn't take notes or do his homework, but he still manages to pull off a solid grade in exams. He always arrived late (because he sleeps in), but he attended every single class (that I know of). As of date, he is my mechanic when I nor my boyfriend cannot fix a certain something with my car.

Okay, you might be thinking, "MC, this is bullshit! You are just making this up, because of your obsession with Soul Eater!" Seriously, when I found out that my psychology partner was named Evan, I started making comparisons with the actual characters. Soon, I started seeing the alike-ness of my partners in my other classes. Plus, if I was making this up, I would of said he rode a motorcycle, played the piano and had an older brother that played the violin.

This semester, I have female partners, who are bitches and lazy. LAZY!! I don't want to get into detail with them, but I can tell you that two out of five I grew up with since middle school.

Anyways, enough of my ramblings.

Lock And Key by Sarah Dessen: Book review

Cover of Lock and Key

Yes, it is another one of those real-life drama, Degrassi type books that you know you hate them, but for some reason you can’t put down the goddamn book. Next thing you know, dinner hasn’t been made, you have one chapter to go and you got a house full of hungry, dependant, angry people.

Lock and Key, by Sarah Dessen, was about an adolescent teenage girl named Ruby Cooper, who lived with her mother. Like most teenagers, she works and goes to school at Jackson High School. However, one thing that made her different was that she was taking care of her unmotivated, carefree mother. They moved around a lot, hiding from collection agencies. Also, when they do find them, Ruby often lies to them. Like telling them her mother is out working, she is out right now and many more excuses. Even though, her mother is in the house sleeping off a stubborn hangover.

Read more of the Synopsis... )

I really don’t have much to say about the book really. The book seemed far too simple to read for me, since I’m use to more high difficulty level of reading. The general story line was pretty good and it cleared up some plot-holes in the end. However, I felt that the end was rushed, with the author clarifying the last bit of plot in the last chapter. She made it work, but it was concluded in a flash.

Recommendation: Someone looking for a quick read. Loves to read about a character’s dynamic character change from the character’s current life to a different form of society. Slight love story, friendship and life lessons.

Dreaming
Lets kill two posts in one with a computer post.

My Dell Inspiron 1525 aka 'Giant Rukia' died on October 13, 2009 at 4:03pm. I was playing Bejeweled on Facebook and the screen went black, but the sound from the game was still going. Like any other person who relies on their computer daily, I freaked out and tried to bring it back to life. I restarted the computer and that didn't work. Then, I figured out that the screen can work if I dim the screen settings and then restarted again. It worked and I quickly backed up my stuff into my terrabyte external.

Panicked, I drove to Best Buy and bought a new laptop, because I had a ton of homework due and most of it is done on the computer. The only thing I could afford with my Victoria Secret and Lake Forest Hospital Senior Secretary pay checks was a small Acer Netbook.

I was happy, because my messenger bag is much lighter. I had to lug around four giant textbooks and my big pink Dell Laptop, but now, my new one is lighter than one of my textbooks. Plus, it doesn't consume so much space when I'm sitting in the lecture hall.

What I am not happy with is that, of course, it doesn't support Sony Vegas too well. I installed it and tried to run it, but it is impossible to work on a video with so much lag. In addition to that, the screen is way too small.

So yes, my amv days are on hiatus and two years of fun filled memories are gone, but not forgotten. I could fix my pink computer, but that would cost me about $300 dollars to repair it. As a college student, that money earned at work is snatched away monthly by the loan company and billing companies. I told my parents about it since they gave me the laptop, but because I bought a new one, they don't want to get the pink one fixed. They don't know that I make amvs. They think I'm studying when I'm on the computer for hours end.

Two years of great memories with that laptop. All the amvs I made on that thing. Here at home to the over-crowded airports, all I have left is memories. All that lemon fanfiction I've read, all those doujinshi I downloaded and all that anime watched on that incredible machine is now memories. Now, I have to create new ones with this little tiny thing.

My friends could easily find me from a far distance when I have my laptop out. The pink laptop with the Soul Eater Shinigami Skull sticker on the right side of the computer, "Oh! That's Lexi alright!" Sure, I hate it when people I don't want to see could find me, but now they can't find me and when they do, they make fun of my new little computer. "Ha, a little computer for a little asian like you." Haha, very funny.

When I have the money or get an external monitor, I will continue making AMVs with my current a coma induced laptop. It still works, but the screen backlight is out.

Bleach Movie 3: Fade to Black Movie Review

  • Oct. 24th, 2009 at 7:15 PM
Bleach
Like any other Bleach/Naruto movie, they tend to have a very corney and lame storyline to boot. From the cliche love of someone who doesn't exist to the betrayal of a comrade and trying to help them with their ordeals, the storylines of each of the movies, so far, are what you expect for a non-canon anime story.

Fade to Black is just like its fellow siblings Memories of a Nobody and Diamond Dust Rebellion. Conflict with one of the supporting characters with a filler character too obvious that they do not belong in the real world of Bleach and finally having Ichigo change or assist the people opposing the character in conflict. In this case, Rukia, who has encountered two filler character that she supposedly took care of during her years in the Rukongai district, now, wiped out her memories and her existence.

The two filler character are like the other filler characters and just like them, they are annoying as hell. They obsessed over Rukia like she's their sickly mother and protect from the Shinigami, who Rukia is a part of. They have special abilities to wipe out the memories of their opponent, which is pretty cool, with their amnesia inducing scythe.

When you erase someone's existence, everybody forgets the person and the people that are connected to the person. Except for Ichigo (obviously), who forgets Rukia for a brief moment and then regains his memories. He tries to get the people in Soul Society to remember, but his comrades turn out to be his enemies once more. One of the characters that are close to Rukia, Kuchiki Byakuya, has his own investigation on who this Rukia is. And with the help of the memories with his late wife, Hisana, he uncovers the truth. Plus, Urahara Kisuke uncovers the secret with the help with the sadistic Mayuri, who fell victim to the magical scythe.

Okay, throughout this movie, it was basically an Ichigo/Rukia fangirl/boy feast with it's dramatic, detailed emotion shown through the actions of the character. Especially, Ichigo, who totally unleashed my inner fangirl. The animation and the art of the movie was beautifully done and the details, like the eyes and the facial expressions, really make us sigh with pleasure at the beauty Kubo created. Cause, as we all know, sometimes the art and animation of the Bleach Anime is horrendous. A plus side to Bleach and Naruto movies for sure.

Wrapping this up with my opinion. The movie was okay. I can't complain about the movie's storyline since it's centered around Rukia and Ichigo. The filler characters were obviously horrible, but then again, Ichigo and Rukia's facial expressions and character totally cancel that out. The ending was cliche, but sweet at the same time, using the first episode reference to what created Ichigo the substitute shinigami we know and love.

What really won me over was the art and animation, of course, like all the Bleach movies. As a video editor, I was happy to see some good, usable scenes for any Ichigo/Rukia centric AMV. In fact, before watching, I found another song for my 'Tribute to TJ' amv and this movie totally gave me a ton of beautiful scenes to work with.

Overall, good art, a so-so storyline and the non-surprisingly horrible filler characters.

(Oh before I forget. Zaraki Kenpachi pwns in every Bleach Movie. They always have him towards the end of the movie, finding more things to stamp his 'killed by Ken-chan' stamp on his opponents dead and lifeless bodies. courtesy of Yachiru-chan.)

Just 'Let Me Go'-Soul Eater AMV

Black Star

Wow...after making this video, I couldn't believe I made this video. I seriously do not believe I made this, but I am staring at the open vegas Let Me Go project and looking at the 19 layers of video clips and manga panels mixed in with the adjusted color balance of each layer.

Video Description )I'm very proud of this video. It just shows you that you have to love the song throughout the making of a video. I was singing and headbanging at the screaming parts as I was making this. Even after making this, I love this song so much!

Guys, I lost a bet and now I had to make this or I have to pay for four tickets to see the new Twilight movie. I thought this was impossible. Many of my friends thought I wouldnt be able to pull it off. But, after showing a WIP LQ render to the group of people that dared me to do this, they shitted enough bricks to rebuild Shibusen. (Go easy, this is my first movie trailer)

Okay, I lost a bet in Japanese Club that they wouldnt show the KushinaXMinato part in the Tale of the Gutsy Ninja special last week. If I loose, then I have to pay the tickets for a movie I dont want to see (I hate twilight. Read the books, but hate the concept). I dont want to pay four tickets (including myself) for a movie that makes me gag [Last year, I saw Twilight with my sister and I was surrounded by screaming fan girls. Annoying as HELL!]. So, I told them Ill do anything, but that.

One of the fan girls, were watching fan-made anime trailers using the New Moon Trailer audio. She didnt like how there wasn't a single Soul Eater New Moon Trailer, so she asked me to make one. The conditions were, I had to make it canon and the lip synch had to be flawless. If not, then I had to pay for their tickets.

I had to watch the trailer several times to figure out how I was going to approach this. I gagged the first ten times watching this, because I hate it so much. After that, I realize that if KiddoXMaka ever happened. It could end up like the vicious love triangle in the Twilight saga. No matter what, Soul will always be there for Maka. Even if shes with another guy. Because Soul is cool like that!!!!

I'm not going to lie, I rushed it and some elements are alittle sloppy. Lip Synch was poorly done, but my friends were kind enough to let that slide. The part where she goes into the water was a bitch. I didnt know how to approach it, but I gave up after working on it for three hours. Plus, my computer was lagging like crazy, since I am using a new video format for the episodes.

I didnt know how awesome this trailer was until I made the final render! I showed my twilight friends at school the trailer and now team Jacob and Team Edward are renaming themselves Team Kiddo and Team Soul. God, I love my friends...

Anyways, yes...I'llsay it againIm not a fan of lovey dovey crap, so I'm not fan of twilight (Dont hate me, please?). However, I like the basic storyline. Im not going to lie, I read all four books and I thought it was interesting. But, the genre isn't my style, thats why I dont like it that much.

The Quote that made my day: "In order to make a kickass Twilight Trailer, get a Anti-Twilight Soul Eater AMV Editor to do the job!"

Dreaming
 This is bullshit!

A few weeks ago, Youtube deleted my first account and now they gave me one strike against my new account. I was pissed, but still relieved they didn't delete the account.

Today, I wanted to work on some AMVs, but when I opened the project the audio for the episodes didn't work. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal so, I tried to continue to work on the project. However, when I chose a certain clip and drag it to the project track, a troubleshoot box appeared, asking me if I would like to send the problem to Sony. Of course, I don't send the problem, but vegas closed down after that.

I tried every video with different formats to see if it's a certain format. Turns out the MP4s would not play audio and once you select them into the trimmer, it crashes and the troubleshoot box appears. AVIs work, surprisingly. That means I can work on Bleach, Half of Naruto, Half of Shugo Chara and Full Metal Alchemist.

I would love to work on other projects, but I have some really good Soul Eater videos cooking, but the wok and the ingredients do not want to cooperate with me and the stove. I have about four projects on the works for Soul Eater and I've been working hard with the little time I have. Now, it doesn't want me to continue.

Is this a sign? Is this is a sign to stop working on videos and move on with my life as an adult? I mean, I requested for less hours at work, so I can have time for working on videos. Also, I don't want to consume my social life with video editing either, since hanging out with my non-nerdy friends is one way of getting out of AMV blocks.

I don't know. I hope this problem goes away soon. Or I have to re-convert all my Soul Eater Episodes to a new format. However, converting videos lowers the quality of video. Poor video quality + HD renders=One Pixelated and fuzzy looking AMV. Right now, my videos are pixelated.

Waffles Facial Expression can never cease to make me put a fucking wide grin on my face!!! XD

I was such in a bad mood this morning. School, Work and then school again totally drained all my energy! I had to restock underwear and bras. Plus a new shipment of BioFit bras came in and I had to sort it out and everything. Sure, I got it done in two hours, but I was so drained after that! I couldn't go to sleep in class. We had group discussion all day in anatomy.

Finally, I'm home and I have a Biology exam tomorrow. Of course, I don't want to study for it, but I have no other choice. Then, I went on the computer to print out the study guide, I had the picture folder labeled 'Soul Eater 65' opened. Instantly, I smiled, because of the thumbnails. So, I re-read the chapter again and I could not stop smiling.
Waffles under the cut!!!  )

Okay, Okay!!! I quickly made this!! I know it's stupid, but I had to do it!!!! XD
Yeah...I had to. As a KidXMaka Shipper, I must fulfill my duty to this pairing!!!

Anyways, this made my day again. I know now that if I am having a bad day, read Chapter 65 of Soul Eater.

Sociology and Shugo Chara

  • Sep. 16th, 2009 at 10:47 AM
What!!!!!

If Shugo Charas exist, making decisions would be so much easier and interacting with others would be better. Because having our little would be selves next you and observing your action as you present yourself to the world is pretty cool. But less privacy would drive me insane.

Anyway, I think talking about little selves floating around our heads, observing our actions, in class was pretty amusing. I couldn't stop laughing inside my head at the ideas people were throwing at during our discussion. All of them connected to Shugo Chara.

And this isn't a lie. Someone even mention that it'll be cool if our self-conscious character can switch our personalities and act differently from our outside image. Self confidence boast. In Shugo Chara, that was called a Character Change ちゃら なり

Anyways, it was freaking hilarious. Well, to me at least. Sociology is over now and time to head to my next class.

As much as I hate it, I miss this place...

sigh

I don't live too far from my old high school, so I pass by it on rare occassions. One of my escape sanctuary is on the ol' high school grounds, the track.

I'm one of those alumni, left and never return. Don't miss the memories and the people. Sure, I see my old friends again, but all they ever want to do is talk about the past. I don't like dwelling. It's not cool.

But, I'm not like those who was an outcast or hated people, isolate myself from the world. No, I was pretty much out there and involved. I had (still do) the basketball-track star closet computer nerd boyfriend. I was the track, choir video game chicka, who saves everybody's asses every year in powderpuff. Friends from different types if clicks. Yes, I had a high life in high school, but sometimes I wish I was away from all that.

Soon enough, I graduated. Better yet, I early graduated. And I loved it! I started college right away and I loved it even more!! And because of that, I resume my first love, video editting and started my new and addictive hobby. Making AMVs.

I do come here to vent sometimes. I grab a few hurdles and run my heart out. Because that's where I left my heart during my last meet my junior year. (Early graduate, can't compete during the spring of 07.)

Today, as I watch Linda practice, I feel alittle melancholic. Remembering the friends I made, the memories I made with them and all the wacky stuff I experience on the track, the field and on stage. It depressed me, because I wouldn't be able to relive this carefree, social high school life.

That the only way to survive it and live through it happily was pure confidence.

This weekend, I was in California for two days. My flights were both delayed going to California and heading back to Illinois, so I made this at the airport.

Song choice was random. Before deciding to make an AMV, I was watching my favorite routines from So You Think You Can Dance on my laptop and this song came on. Im not a fan of Jason Mraz, but I liked the routine Jeannine and Jason danced for this song.

I was planning on making another KidXMaka, but my Lil Sis didnt like how my SoulXMaka Vids are soon-to-be outnumbered by my KidXMaka vids, so I changed it to SoulXMaka.

The song...kinda...doesnt...fit them *_*

Anyways, it's random and not that great! Im not happy with it at all. When I was making this, my parents and lil sister were talking to me at the same time I was making it. One earbud in one ear, and the other was listening to them. So, timing is off a little bit.

I was hoping I would fix this today, but Mondays are my busiest. School and work. Who goes bra and panty shopping on a Monday anyway!?!?!?! When I got home, I decided that the computer will prevent me from doing my homework, so I rendered the video as I did my homework. Three hours later, here it is!!!!

Slightly disappointed, but its done. I hope you guys like! If not, I completely understand.

Manga
Whoop ASS WINGS OF DOOM!!!! All I have to say is that I love this manga, more than anything else in the manga universe. There is no chapter that I dislike and Ohkubo always has us scream, OHKUBO! Sure, I still love my Bleach and Naruto weekly chapter, but every now and then I get a few chapters that make me want to ask the mangaka, why? Why do you bore me with such chapter this week? However, the differences between those mangas and Soul Eater Manga is that two are weekly and Soul Eater is monthly. I guess I appreciate Soul Eater more because it is a monthly release.

Anyways, enough of my rambling, lets get this chapter recap and review over with, shall we?

First part of the chapter starts off with Maka facing Gopher with her new Angel of Badass wings. Here, they were able to dodge most of Gopher's attacks easily, making Gopher frustrated. His frustration is shown by showing vulgar facial expressions that would make anybody laugh, yet would make a baby or toddler cry from the scary vibe Gopher was giving. Plus, shouting Noah-sama's name several times sure makes him Noah's prize collectable.

Well, for a while now, Maka is doing some aerial attacks, where she switches from wings, to scythe, wings to witchunter, wings to demon hunter. It just shows you how strong Soul is now since he became death scythe.

As they're attacking Gopher, he makes these distorted faces of rage, far too abnormal for any antagonist. Also, he cries out to his master and ramble on about wanting to be collected in Noah-sama's book.

Then, Gopher puts all his rage against Maka into his next attack, which is another shirt ripping attack. This time, the attack is slower and much more accurate of hitting his target. When he despises someone, he puts all his angry feelings about that person and unleashes it with this attack. This attack follows the victim, whom Gopher hates, and follows them forever until it hits them. In this case, Maka.

Maka, oh Maka. So brave, yet so fragile. She stops flying and decided to destroy Gopher's heartbomb with Demon Hunter. Instantly, she broke the beam of light in half, making a broken heart. Next panel, Gopher makes his signature face; the bottom lip above the upper lip. With that, he has a broken heart in a bubble. After that, Maka swings it down further and gets Gopher, where he crashes against a rock formation.

Gopher decided to retreat, knowing that he would get yelled at by Noah-sama. Maka let him go, because Gopher wasn't in Shinigami's list. That ends Maka and Soul encounter in this chapter.

Second part of the chapter, Gopher kneels before Noah, apologizing about not fulfilling his mission as successful. Noah doesn't care, but he cared that Gopher was shouting his name to their enemies. Gopher apologizes again, but Noah makes the scare, yet cool, face. Telling him creatures like him do not have any sort of emotion or shall receive any. Referring to himself as the person who will not show any emotion to his tool.

After that, Gopher shouts out profanities and marches into a dungeon where Kiddo is being held captive. Kiddo smiles at Gopher's stupid expression, getting the idea that he was easily defeated by Maka. Then, He gets a kick in the gut, letting out all his anger into Kiddo. But, it doesn't seem like Kiddo is too effected by it now.

Sadly, the chapter ends off with Medusa and Crona. Medusa telling Crona to get going and finally ends it with Crona screaming at the top of her lungs.

This Chapter was great! Maka kicked ass, Gopher made me laugh, Soul was still sexy as ever, Kiddo was still tied up and looking sexy as ever. Disappointments? No Black Star, but maybe next months chapter will make up for it.

Gopher's facial expression were priceless to boot! I could never get enough of that kindergarten level of jealously. I'm so use to that face when I watch my little cousins get jealous of another and to see this distorted face in my beloved manga is fucking hilarious.

It's given that Gopher is jealous of Kid, because he was collected by Noah and is being held as his most treasured collectable. Explains beating Kid up to a bloody pulp. Plus, wanting Noah to express his motherly love to him by collecting him in his book is what he dearly wants. It said Gopher's body was created by Noah. Gopher's cry of need of some motherly love is far too readable in his absurd, nonetheless funny facial expressions.

My prediction for the next chapter is that this time is Black Star's turn to fight Crona. Putting the order of battles Ohkubo had towards the beginning of the series till now and which meister has fought Crona so far, it looks like Black Star is next and chapter 65 gave the clue that next months chapter will start or at least have Crona being the main point of it.
